Consignment Agreement and Contract
BDA welcomes all consignments to our Public Auction!  If you are interested in consigning your vehicle, boat, RV, ATV or motorcycle for our 3/30/10 sale, please follow the link to our Consignment Agreement.  This form must be filled out and signed for EACH item consigned.

CONSIGNMENT AGREEMENT

CONSIGNMENT INFORMATION:

1.  There is a $40 registration fee for individuals to run their vehicle through the auction. 
2.  We will begin taking consignments for the March 30 public auction on Wednesday March 24.  Please call for more information.
3.  The consignor must warrant that they are the rightful owner of the consigned items, have good title with the right to sell, and item is without encumbrances.
4.  Consignor must agree to have the vehicle in a "saleable state" - i.e. battery charged, gas in the tank, etc.
5.  Consignor must agree to accept all responsibility for providing a merchantable title at the time of consignment.
6.  Consignor must agree to be here to represent their items on the block.  If the consignor will not be present, then they must agree to authorize BDA to sell their items for an agreed upon price.
7.  Consignor and ONE guest will be allowed in the auction on the day of the sale.
8.  A sales fee will be deducted from the sales price of the vehicle (see consignment fee schedule).
9.  BDA will remit the proceeds from the sale (less the sales fee and an pick up, service department or detailing fees) within 24 hours of the time the buyer submits full payment for the item.
10.  BDA reserves the right to reject any goods which in its opinion are unsuitable for public sale on its premises.
11.  BDA reserves the right to display, catalog, photograph and describe the goods at its discretion and as it feels appropriate.
12.  Consignor must understand that they may NOT bid on their own property.  This includes the use of puffers/badges/schills.  Any consignor that attempts to do so will be barred from future participation in any Public Auction.
13.  BDA assumes no liability for theft, fire, burglary, damages or acts of nature.  Consignor must agree to hold BDA harmless against such claims.
