1. All dealers wishing to buy or sell MUST file an application for approval and have been accepted by the auction before participation in the sale. (See dealer registration page for more information). 2. DEALERS ONLY. Do not send or bring retail customers to the auction. 3. No children please. This is for their safety. 4. This auction reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. 5. Sellers and buyers are responsible for the accuracy of year model and mileage on windshield. Check your cars to see that there are no mistakes. 6. This auction is not responsible for the purchase or sale of any vehicle. It acts only as an agent for the buyer or seller. 7. All vehicles must have a gate pass to exit the premises. 8. Please make sure your vehicles are gassed up and in working order to be driven through the auction. 9. Once you sign a draft, the vehicle belongs to you. 10. The auction is not responsible for damages to vehicles during transportation. 11. Only the price paid for the vehicle will be refunded on returned cars. 12. The night of the auction, we (Beaumont Dealers Auction, Inc.) will not pay the seller for the vehicle until the buyer has ok'd the drive. 13. The auction assumes no responsibility for fire, theft, collision, vandalism or any other damage to the vehicle before, during or after the sale. This auction does not provide insurance coverage. Dealer assumes all risk and liability. 14. All vehicles delivered to the auction are subject to inspection by the State Police, Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Auto Theft Bureau. All vehicles delivered to the auction must have a VIN number (Vehicle Identification Number). 15. Once a vehicle arrives on auction property it is considered registered. If it is sold during or after the sale, the dealers must pay all fees. 16. All verbal agreements between the buyer and the seller are not the auction's responsibility. Get agreements in writing. 17. Seller must guarantee each car against cracked block for 24 hours after auction. 18. No salvage titles. 19. The following must be announced: **Frame damage **Water damage **Diesel and Diesel conversions **Police or county vehicles **Taxi cabs **Reconditioned titles **Mileage discrepancy 20. Auction does not guarantee year models or condition of boats, RV's, motorcycles, dune buggies, ATV's, etc, regardless of verbal testimony of seller. 21. Vehicles must be picked up (sold or un-sold) within 14 days. 22. All returned drafts without bona fide title problem carry a $100 service charge. Drafts are sight and must be paid within 24 hours of notification from bank. 23. In the event the title is not received by the auction with the thirty (30) day period, approval of the auction is required before the unit is returned. The auction must be notified one (1) week prior to the return of the vehicle by the buyer. 24. If there is a problem with the title or paperwork, seller must correct or the sale will be void. 25. The seller is responsible to pay all reasonable expenses in recovering the car. 26. Title delays should be announced.
Seller is repsonsible to see that correct light is on: **RED: AS IS WHERE IS **YELLOW: Announced defects **GREEN: Ride and drive All complaints must be checked by an auction approved serviceman.
RE-RUN POLICIES 1. Any vehicle that is arbitrated and turned down will receive a re-run at any time. 2. All re-runs will automatically go after the new car trade-ins have run. 3. Seller must buy back any vehicle that has any mileage discrepancy.
ARBITRATION REMEMBER! You are buying USED vehicles!
1. Cars MUST be arbitrated on sale day. The next morning is too late. 2. All arbitration is to be done by designated auction employees on auction property only. 3. Boots, CV joints, and other front wheel drive components not covered under auction drive. 4. Do not bother with arbitration if $400.00 can fix the problem. 5. You may not turn down a vehicle without legitimate cause. If you turn down a car, you may not bid on that car again. 6. Visible body damage may not be arbitrated for frame damage. 7. Buyer cannot turn down for blow-by or smoking if car has over 50,000 miles. 8. Accessories and peripherals cannot be arbitrated. 9. Frame damage and water damage must be reported within 7 days of sale, or there is no recourse.
AIR CONDITIONING POLICY 1. No arbitration for air conditioning on "as is" units. 2. Any vehicle with a missing compressor in the existing A/C unit must be announced accordingly if sold with a drive. Failure to make such an announcement can result in a "No Sale". 3. Vehicles may not be arbitrated for inoperable A/C units.
